EXCHANGE POLICY
At Vegan Basics, we take pride in offering high-quality, handmade footwear crafted under a Made-to-Order (MTO) process. Due to the artisanal nature of our products, minor variations, texture differences, or slight imperfections are natural and should not be considered defects.
We understand that you may need an exchange, and we are happy to assist you under the following conditions:
Since all products are made-to-order, we do not offer refunds in case of size issues or minor concerns. However, exchange can be provided.
Customized products are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances.
Products purchased during sale or discount periods are eligible for a one-time exchange only. In such cases, the customer will be required to ship the product to our address at their own expense.
Exchange requests must be raised within 5 days of delivery. Any request raised after this period will not be accepted.
Once the exchange request is approved, our logistics partner will attempt reverse pickup within 2–3 business days. A maximum of two pickup attempts will be made. If both attempts fail due to customer unavailability or any other reason, the customer will need to courier the product to our office address at their own cost.
After receiving the product, it will undergo a quality check. The product must be unused, undamaged, and returned with all original tags and packaging intact. If the product fails the quality check (used, damaged, tampered, or without tags), the exchange request will be rejected and the product will be shipped back to the customer.
Once the exchange is approved after quality check, the new pair will be dispatched within 2–3 business days.
Only one exchange is allowed per order, and it is strictly limited to size exchange of the same product. No change in design or product is allowed. Any price difference between products will not be adjusted.
In case a wrong product has been delivered from our end, we will arrange a replacement irrespective of the one-time exchange limitation.
Please note that once an exchange request is initiated, it cannot be converted into a return or refund request.
Reverse pickup and re-shipping charges will be applicable as per pincode serviceability. These charges may vary depending on your location.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Vegan Basics, we strive to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase. However, due to the Made-to-Order (MTO) nature of our products, returns and refunds are generally not accepted.
Products purchased during sale or discount periods and customized products are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.
Return requests, if applicable, must be raised within 5 days of delivery. Any request beyond this period will not be considered.
Approval of return requests will be at the sole discretion of Vegan Basics, especially in cases where the concern relates to product features already mentioned on the website.

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT), and the customer must provide accurate bank details.
Reverse pickup and return shipping charges will be applicable as per pincode serviceability and will be deducted from the final refund amount.
